who is Shannon Mack?
Meet Shannon Mack, a seasoned entertainment veteran with over two decades of industry experience. Her journey commenced in college radio and TV. Her college TV show "It's All About Hip-Hop" is where her love started for interviewing celebrities. Shannon's talent caught the eye of Philly’s Power 99, where she landed an internship before swiftly securing the afternoon on-air slot at Delaware’s Kiss 101.7 (only four days after graduating from Villanova University).
In 2007, Shannon made her mark in LA and became a familiar face in commercials for Anna’s Linens, Just Fab Shoes, and Hallmark. Her on-screen presence extended to BET’s “The Boot," TLC’s “What Not To Wear," and WeTV's "Ghosts In Da Hood."
In 2018, Shannon took the entertainment world by storm, conceptualizing and launching the talk show "Pedis & Mimosas." With the tagline “Toe-Talk With the Stars,” the show offers uniquely engaging celebrity interviews over pedicures and mimosas. Shannon's unwavering dedication was evident when, briefly homeless, she slept in her car for 43 days to bring Season 2 to life.
Expanding her horizons, Shannon ventured even further into entrepreneurship. In early 2021, she launched her own lip line "Pretty Smack Cosmetics" in a bold step towards empowerment and creativity for all women.
Her latest endeavor involves the founding of nonprofit Pedicares.org, which aims to provide housing and essential business resources for homeless and struggling Black female entrepreneurs ages 21-29 in Los Angeles.
